You may not know that our name, Anthros, comes from the Greek word for human or humankind. I founded Anthros because I wanted to focus on people and bring empathy back into the way human resources are delivered. This is a time when my team and I stand by our values more than ever. As we watch COVID-19 damage our communities and economy, we must embrace our humanity and reinforce our commitment to serving you with compassion.
Like you, we find ourselves in a new landscape where we must develop new processes and do business in a new way. Despite these challenges, we have worked hard to bring you detailed guides to the paid leave requirements established under the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) as well as the SBA Loans (“Paycheck Protection Program”) provided under the CARES Act. For those of you applying for these loans/grants, the Anthros team has immediately delivered payroll reports needed for the application. In addition, so many unique compliance and HR questions have arisen as a result of COVID-19 and I have to thank my team for their tremendous effort in getting answers and information to you right away.
We also want you to know that not only are we providing 100% of our services to clients, we are also using this time to internally reflect, improve our processes, and explore new service offerings. We have already made technology enhancements to our Employee Portal, where your employees can now find COVID-19 resources.
For your employees that may need help dealing with stress, anxiety or change right now, please remember that they have access to trained counselors 24/7 through the Anthros Employee Assistance Program. We are continuing to provide this service to furloughed employees, at no charge to you, because we believe it is the right thing to do.
