WINTER PARK, Fla., July 15, 2020—Anthros has been named the preferred Human Resources provider for the Twin Cities Restaurant Coalition (TCRC), a support and advocacy group launched by Minneapolis and St. Paul restaurants and bars in response to COVID-19’s devastating impact on the hospitality industry. The mission of TCRC is to advocate for the health and prosperity of independent restaurants and bars during and after COVID-19.

“Soigné Hospitality Group has depended on the guidance and support of the Anthros team to survive the last few months,” said Gavin Kaysen, chef-owner of Soigné Hospitality Group, which operates acclaimed Twin Cities restaurants Spoon and Stable, Bellecour and Demi. “We needed their expertise to understand changes in regulatory compliance and HR best practices in a time of tremendous uncertainty.”

Founded by the owners of prominent restaurants and bars and other culinary leaders from the Twin Cities area, the coalition serves as a resource for restaurants and bars as they navigate re-opening. Its members will work collaboratively to identify solutions and map out a path to sustainability now and in the future.

Kaysen added, “I know the other members of TCRC will benefit from the Anthros infrastructure as my team has. Anthros can provide the HR solutions needed to understand the changing landscape of compliance while protecting the health and well-being of our employees. Together we will find the way forward to bring back our vital hospitality scene.”

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Anthros has supported its clients by:

  • Providing a COVID-19 resource center on the Anthros blog
  • Breaking down the federal Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) and CARES Act and its impact on employers
  • Creating custom payroll reports to help clients apply for the Paycheck Protection Program established by the CARES Act
  • Creating new policy templates for 1) telecommuting and 2) infectious diseases in the workplace
  • Offering virtual healthcare benefits to clients’ employees through Doctegrity
  • Managing unemployment claims for furloughed employees
  • Providing HR crisis communications

“We are honored that the members of TCRC turned to Anthros at this difficult time when the world of work is changing,” said Anthros Founder and CEO, Anurag Dandiya. “Now more than ever we are guided by our values. We continue to serve our clients with compassion and evolve our processes and services to help them meet the distinct challenges of COVID-19.”
